January 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Stock Exchange has reduced the minimum demand in the debt market for microfinance organizations to 500,000 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that Ogtay Gasimov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Administrator of the Baku Stock Exchange, said this at a microfinance forum in Baku today.

"The BSE has a standard listing segment and a main market listing segment. The main market segment is intended for larger and more developed companies. The standard market segment is intended for developing, smaller companies. The nominal minimum demand in the debt market segment is 1 million manats. To increase access to microfinance organizations, we’ve halved this amount to 500,000 manats. A decision has already been made on this, and it will be announced in the near future," he stressed.
