February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Cabinet Ministers has approved the Rules for the application of international, regional, interstate and foreign standards in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that in this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision.

The document was adopted to implement Presidential Decree dated July 12, 2019 on the application of the Law on Standardization dated May 17, 2019 and regulates the mechanism for international, regional, interstate and foreign standards in the country. The Resolution establishes rules for the recognition of these standards by the state, their direct application, translation, examination and entry into the register.

The main goal is to systematize the application of international standards in the country, to ensure their compliance with national legislation and technical regulations, as well as to develop the economy and strengthen international integration. The decision increases transparency and legal clarity in the field of standardization.
