February 11, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the number of users of digital government platform myGov has exceeded 2.5 million people.

ABC.AZ informs that Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov stated about this at the Azerbaijan-Turkey business forum: Digital Transformation and Technological Bridge.

According to Mammadov, this means that about a quarter of the country's population uses the platform.

"myGov has become one of the fastest growing digital services with a wide range of public services. Through the platform, digital versions of documents are available - identity cards, driver's licenses, and others that have the same legal force as paper ones. Citizens can register a marriage online, register the birth of a child, receive educational services, conclude employment contracts and resolve issues of social protection," Mammadov said.

The deputy minister added that employment contracts in the public and private sectors are already signed exclusively in electronic format using an e-signature, without paper document management.
