Azerbaijan's non-oil exports grew by 9% for January

February 11, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil exports amounted to $268.4 million.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, that compared with January 2025, growth of 9% in value terms was observed on Azerbaijan's non-oil exports this January.

Positive dynamics was recorded on a number of key commodity items, including food and agricultural products. Exports of food products increased by 22.6% up to $103 million.

Significant growth was registered in certain areas: exports of sugar grew 2.7-fold, cotton yarn 2.4-fold, fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin by 90.8%, aluminum and products made from it by 39.5%, fruits and vegetables by 32.1%, cotton fiber by 23.2%, tea by 20.9%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 14.2%.

Exports of agricultural products increased by 32.6%, reaching $85.7 million. The volume of exports of agro-industrial products totaled $21.9 million. As a whole, overall exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 23.8% up $107.6 million.
