February 11, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey will explore ways to increase the volume of the information technology sector through projects implemented jointly with Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Mehmet Ali Tonbalak, the chairman of board of the Association of Information Technology Manufacturers of Turkey (TÜBISAD), stated this at a forum in Baku.

He added that the main goal is to build a digital bridge and create a unified ecosystem: "I will try to explain the reasons for this step. Currently, the information technology sector in Turkey as a whole represents a volume of $33 billion and covers 95% of the market. In the near future, we will explore ways with Azerbaijan to double this figure."
