March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Exchange prices for gas in Europe at the beginning of trading on Wednesday are rising by 11%, exceeding $720 per 1,000 cu m, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the London ICE exchange.

April’s (upcoming) futures on the TTF index (Europe's largest hub located in the Netherlands) opened trading at 11:00 a.m. (Baku time) at $706.7 (+8.5%). And as of 12.03, their cost was $723.6 (+11.1%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the estimated price of the previous trading day – $651.6 per 1,000 cu m.

Gas prices in Europe on Tuesday exceeded $780 per 1,000 cu m for the first time since February 2, 2023.
