March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Nvidia (U.S.) has suspended the production of artificial intelligence chips H200 intended for the Chinese market.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Financial Times’ sources, Nvidia fears that trade barriers between Washington and Beijing will limit the company's sales to China.

The American manufacturer of microchips redirected production facilities from the production of H200 chips to the production of next-generation Vera Rubin equipment.

Earlier, Washington tightened restrictions on the sale of high-tech semiconductors to China, and Beijing made it clear that it could restrict imports to support local manufacturers.
